Number 1 Lytton Tree Lodge

The beds were really comfortable, so we all slept well, and the place is only a few minutes from the seaside. We stayed for a few nights in August and found both rooms very clean, with everything clearly put together with care. The kitchen had all the facilities we needed, including an air-fryer, and even the soap and bathroom supplies had been thought through. Communication was great, with owner Gavin being genuinely lovely and helpful rather than relying only on automated messages. He was also super helpful when we left something behind. A genuinely great stay, thank you. We'd definitely recommend it.

There was a lovely outdoor area with patio furniture and birds singing in a nearby tree. The accommodation was clean and well equipped for accessibility, with a wet room and shower chair. The twin beds were decent, though the pillows were really lumpy. Tea and coffee were available, and the wall-mounted TV was a good size. I chose this for a weekend in Southwold, and it fitted the bill perfectly, about a three-minute drive from the high street. Just lovely, and we'll definitely return.

Room No 5 was immaculate and a lovely size, with its own little terrace. The bed was very comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. It was a quiet, well-kept place, just a short distance from Southwold, making it a perfect base for exploring. The owners sent all the information we needed, and communication was first class. I'd thoroughly recommend Lytton Tree Lodge if you're visiting Southwold.

I got there at noon and was able to check in early, thanks to Gavin from reception. The room was very clean, and it had tea, instant coffee, a refrigerator and some milk. It's a 25-minute walk to the sea. I was very happy with my two-night stay at Lytton tree and would love to come back!
