The views across the town and fields were beautiful, and breakfast had plenty to choose from, including cereal, yogurt, and a cooked option. The sausages were delicious, and there was lots of coffee too. Our room at Bryn Derwen was clean and comfortable, with chocolates left as a thoughtful touch. The host was so friendly and welcoming. We'd gladly stay again.

The cooked breakfast was delicious, and we loved having the Jacuzzi room. It was only a few minutes' walk into the friendliest town in Wales.

Breakfast was so good and generous that I didn't need to eat again until evening. We slept really well in the super comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious, with a roomy shower and decent water flow. Our room was a good size, clean, and nicely furnished and decorated. Even the tea and coffee setup was the best I've come across, with fresh milk on arrival instead of plastic pots. The reception area was tidy, and we got a warm welcome. It's a lovely B&B in a great spot for exploring the Elan Valley. I'll definitely return if I'm in this part of Wales again. ✅️✅️✅️

I liked being able to choose our breakfast time, and the little touches like chocolate and good-sized towels. The lighting was bright enough to read by. Lovely host and a delicious breakfast. Definitely recommend.

I was on a motorcycle tour through Wales and found this a great place to stay, with everything I needed. The host was really helpful, and the accommodation was clean and tidy. There’s covered parking for bikes, including anchor points for locks. The village has good pubs and places to eat, and there’s some superb riding nearby. Highly recommend.
