We were traveling with a van full of adult family, and the staff made our gluten intolerance and vegan diet easy to manage. They prepared tasty meals for us, and the dining room looks out over gorgeous Loch Inchard. The internet was great, and we enjoyed the lovely bar downstairs. Couldn't have asked for a better stay, we'll be back when we're passing through.

Sitting by the roaring fire with a dram or two was a highlight. The place feels really homely, and the owners have done a brilliant job renovating it. The rooms were immaculate, the food was good and reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly. It's a fantastic base for exploring the nearby coast and mountains. I can't fault the hotel, and we look forward to returning.

There are lovely views from both the upstairs dining area and the residents' lounge. It's a small, clean hotel.

I haven't stayed here, but turning away CRT walkers who want to buy a drink seems like a missed opportunity. After three days of walking, I was really looking forward to a coffee, so being told no was quite a blow.

The exterior might put you off, but the food and rooms are great, and the owners are just the nicest. We found a gem of a place to stay right where the NC500 is at its most spectacular.
