We’ve just come back from a second holiday in this lovely home. It’s cosy but still spacious, and the setting is hard to beat, with gorgeous views and lots of walks. There’s no chance of getting bored. Yesterday we even spotted a pod of dolphins from the coastal path. Thanks for another lovely stay ❤️

Pant-yr-Hyman sits right on the cliffs in a lovely quiet spot, with Rhoscolyn village still within walking distance. We’ve stayed here several times over the years and keep coming back for the views over the Irish Sea, especially from the upstairs balcony. Paths nearby lead over the cliffs, along the shore toward Treaddur Bay on a longer walk, or inland along the country lanes. It’s a big house with room for a decent-sized group and everything needed for a week away. The inside has a relaxed, homely feel and a rustic style. Don’t expect cutting-edge mod cons or futuristic interiors, but that suits a house in this part of the world. The house is also a handy base for hikers and climbers visiting Snowdon / Yr Wyddfa, about an hour’s drive away. Treaddur Bay takes around 10 minutes by car, or an enjoyable hour on foot. It’s a small seaside resort with some good pubs and places to eat, and the bay is especially nice in summer. Local pubs serve some particularly good Welsh beers. The White Eagle is an easy walk from the house and has an excellent restaurant, though you need to book, especially at weekends. The Oyster Catcher is a short drive farther down the coast and is well worth a visit for its food. One practical tip: finding the house in the dark can be tricky, and there’s at least one gate to get out and open on the way in. The directions are very good, but arriving in daylight is recommended.

Anna, the owner, was really helpful, and there’s plenty of room for a family in this lovely house. It’s in a remote, beautiful spot with stunning views and cliff walks close by.

Back for a second stay at Pant yr Hyman, and it’s just as peaceful as before, with amazing views. The house is lovely and roomy, and works well for all sorts of groups, whether friends or families. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the owner was helpful. I’d highly recommend it.

The house is very spacious and well equipped, with everything you need. The location is wonderful, with beautiful coastal walks starting right outside and stunning views all around.
