We spent Christmas here as a family group of 10 and had a lovely stay. There are 7 bedrooms, all ensuite, which worked perfectly for us. Our daughter especially liked having the private Courtyard bedroom in its separate annexe, and the games and bar area above it was a big hit too. The huge top-floor bedroom is amazing, and the house is beautifully decorated and furnished to a high standard. We had a couple of problems on the first night, but the owner came straight over to sort them out, even though it was nearly 11pm. The location is excellent, just minutes from pubs and restaurants. The courtyard was a lovely place to relax, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Bedrooms are lovely, all ensuite, and the linen provided is top quality. The host was very helpful and informative. It’s a beautiful, clean, well-maintained property just a couple of minutes from the town centre shops, restaurants and bars. I highly recommend it and plan to return.

We only booked one night, but enjoyed it so much we’ll definitely come back next year. Breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of it. Gordon gave us a really warm welcome and couldn’t do enough to make us comfortable. He showed us the best places to eat and visit, and both he and Laura are excellent hosts.

I stay here regularly for work, and it really feels like a home away from home. The rooms are beautiful, and breakfast is AMAZING. I love this place and have nothing negative to say about it.
