My sister’s wedding weekend was so special that now I want to get married here too! The place is stunning, with lovely views, beautiful food, and incredibly comfortable rooms. It feels like home, especially if you like a cottagecore look. Gill has clearly poured her heart into it, and it shows. She and the whole team made the wedding and weekend perfect. I first came in 2023 for a dear friend’s wedding on the farm, and enjoyed my stay so much that I returned in August 2024. Low Gingerfield Farm B&B is a place that really recharges you. The drive up has breathtaking views, and Gill and her friends give such a warm welcome. Gill goes out of her way to make it feel like a second home. Breakfast is amazing, and I’ve stayed in every room, including the Shepards hut. They’re all clean, cosy, and comfortable. The town is five minutes away by car, with beautiful walks and lots to see nearby, and the beach is an hour’s drive. I’ve recommended it to all my family and friends, and you won’t regret visiting.

We chose the farm’s charming hut for a romantic birthday getaway for my partner, and the owner’s kindness made the stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. They were attentive and polite, and clearly cared about our comfort. The afternoon tea was a real treat, with freshly brewed tea, lovely pastries and sandwiches, all presented with care. Breakfast was just as memorable, with a range of freshly baked goods and savoury dishes, made with good ingredients and prepared thoughtfully. The whole experience exceeded our expectations, and we’ll treasure it for years. I’d recommend the hut to anyone looking for a special, romantic escape.

The farmhouse is beautiful, and it’s a lovely spot for looking at the stars. Gill was a kind, lovely host. On my first visit I thoroughly enjoyed the clean, tidy bedroom and filling breakfast.
