The views and the cafe were lovely, and the walk was nice too. The Druids temple is worth visiting, though the woods and countryside around us were just as stunning.

My wife and I had a wonderful two-night stay here with our Labrador in December. The cabin was so cosy, with the log burner keeping us toasty. Reading by candlelight felt especially relaxing in that lovely setting. We explored the nearby grounds and forests, including the Druids Temple, which was beautiful at that time of year. Highly recommend, and I’m sure we’ll be back.

After a family walk to the Druids Temple, we stopped in for coffee. The guy behind the counter gave us a lovely welcome. It was very quiet when we visited, and I was impressed that the cafe stays open until 8.00 PM. The coffee was very nice and the setting comfortable. I’d recommend the Druids Temple as well, though I’ll write about that separately.

The macaroni cheese and toastie were excellent, and the service was friendly, quick and efficient. We had lunch in the cafe. The unisex toilets were clean and well kept.

We took a quick walk around the druids temple, then warmed up with hot chocolate in the cafe. We’ll come back for a longer day in the area.
