We visited today with our car club, and the service from all the staff was superb. The Sunday roast was absolutely delicious, too. It's set in a wonderful little village and is definitely somewhere to visit again. Top marks 👍.

There's a lovely bar and a good range of beers. It's right beside the village green, so when a cricket match is on, you can even watch from there.

We popped in on our way home after being in Ripon. The landlord had TT on the pumps, and there were homemade pies. It's a low-key, friendly place without being over the top. The homemade food was very tasty and the service was good.

We’ll happily stay here again. It’s such a lovely place, with a spotless, comfortable room and delicious evening meals and breakfasts. The owner and her staff were all friendly and ready to help. A real little gem.

We met our niece and her husband here for Sunday lunch, as it was roughly halfway for everyone. The service was great and we never felt hurried. The food was excellent value, and I can’t remember having a Yorkshire pudding that big or tasty in ages. We’d definitely come back.
