The landlord was very friendly, and breakfast was good. I only stayed one night. The room and bathroom were clean, though the toilet made a noise briefly. The curtains need replacing: they were hanging off and left big gaps when closed.

I haven't slept this well in years, except in my own bed. The place felt friendly and homely, the breakfast was amazing, and the staff were brilliant, happy to help and share local advice. An excellent stay all round.

We were made to feel welcome, and the service was brilliant. Our room was gorgeous, much nicer than some other hotels I've stayed in. The area around the inn was pretty and fairly quiet.

The room was big and good, and it's not far from Ripon centre. Breakfast was traditional, tasty and huge. The locals are very friendly, and it's their pub.

The staff were happy to help with anything, and we had a fantastic stay. My only complaint was the music, which was really loud and carried on quite late.
