North Downs Barn

Breakfast was huge and incredible, and Alison cooked it exactly how I like it, which meant a lot as I’m a fussy eater. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. They also gave us really good suggestions for places to eat and visit. We came at the beginning of December and were so glad we found this wonderful B&B. The hosts made our two nights at North Downs Barn B&B especially lovely. They were attentive, helpful and genuinely warm, and I enjoyed talking with them and the other guests around the communal dining table. The traditional British breakfast was delicious, served in a pleasant dining room with soft music. Our room was spacious, clean and cozy, with lovely countryside views. The peaceful location and charming accommodation made it easy to relax and feel at home. A truly lovely stay, thank you.

The countryside views and soft sound of trains passing made for a really relaxing stay. Our room was spacious and spotless, with elegant decor, and the host was warm and chatty. Breakfast was hearty too. North Downs Barn in Rochester is a peaceful gem, highly recommended.

As a solo walker, this was the perfect stop on the North Downs walk, and I came away feeling pampered and rejuvenated. Alison and Paul have created a beautiful, stylish B&B with so much attention to detail, and their hospitality was second to none. I was lucky with the weather and got to have breakfast outside in their stunning quintessential English garden. I’ll absolutely come back with family and friends.
