Trivelles Rochester

The staff really made this a relaxing stay. They were consistently polite, courteous, and helpful, and even made sure we had fresh towels and enough tea, coffee, milk, and sugar. The hotel felt comfortable and secure, with keyless card entry. We stayed two nights for the Rochester Christmas Festival and to explore the town centre. Our spacious, clean double room had tea and coffee facilities and an ensuite shower room with a heated towel rail. It stayed warm without feeling stuffy, even with the temperature below ten degrees. Although room #7 faced Peking Express Chinese Takeaway and the hotel is beside the train station and a main road, we heard no trains or traffic overnight, which was great for us as light sleepers. The takeaway food was very good and reasonably priced too. Getting into town was easy, either a twenty-minute walk or a four-minute walk to Strood station, then a three-minute train ride. Parking at Grove Road Car Park was straightforward, reasonably priced, and just a two-minute walk away. We had a lovely stay and hope to return very soon next year.
