The cheerful service at breakfast was lovely, and the food was truly super. We were warmly welcomed and slept well in a comfortable room. Staying here really made our few days away. Next time, we'd certainly eat here in the evenings too, after hearing other guests praise the dinner.

Friendly, warm and accommodating sums up the hospitality at castle lodge hotel. I've thoroughly enjoyed it from my first stay through the visits since. Highly recommended.

We only stayed for a night while touring, but this place was a real find. The owners were welcoming, and Ross is close enough for an outing. Inside, the room felt modern, bright and airy, with a really comfortable bed and good shower pressure. The practical touches were there too, like well-placed sockets, a decent hairdryer and a mirror by the dressing table. We'd happily recommend it and would definitely return.

We were really happy with our stay. The staff were pleasant, the booking was easy, and there was good parking. It's a friendly, well-run hotel in a handy spot, and very good value for money. A five-star stay from us.

Steve and the team made us feel very welcome, and they even fitted us in at the last minute after Premier Inn cancelled us on the day of the Oasis gig. It's a lovely little family hotel, with friendly staff, a nice location and lovely rooms. Breakfast was great too. I'd stay again if I'm ever back in the area. Thanks for a lovely stay.
