The owners were so welcoming, and the location made it easy to get to local attractions. I spent four nights here and loved the beautiful, roomy room and its lovely views. Breakfast had a delicious range of choices. A lovely place to stay, highly recommended.

We found plenty of walks starting from the guest house, including one to the Loughpool pub for Sunday lunch. Ross on Wye is only a 10-minute drive away, and No. 3 was well worth eating at, though it's best to book ahead because it's so popular. Back at the guest house, our spacious, comfortable room had a huge bay window looking out over stunning autumn views. The owners made us feel at home with their warm welcome and engaging conversations, and breakfast was top quality. I'd highly recommend staying here.

After car trouble, motorway closures, and a very long day on the road, I finally arrived at 11:30 pm. Celia had stayed up for me. I was stunned as soon as I walked in. I've stayed in plenty of hotels, airbnbs, and guest houses for work, but none has made that kind of first impression. I hadn't even stayed the night yet, and the breakfast menu already looked amazing. Such a lovely little gem, with even nicer people. I'd give it a 10 if I could!

The rooms were bright, clean, spacious, and lovely, and the house itself was super lovely. Breakfast was fresh, with an extensive menu, and the food was great. John and Celia were really nice and helpful. A five-star recommendation.

Pure tranquility! You're close to Ross on Wye but still feel as if you're in the middle of nowhere. The rooms were spotlessly clean, with a great shower, and breakfast was first class. The owners are really nice, calm, beautiful people. Absolutely perfect.
