Forest View Guest House

A great place to stay if you enjoy a good walk. We just got back from one night in a clean, comfortable and warm room with fantastic views of the River Wye. The owners and staff were very friendly, and breakfast was a great full English. For a morning walk, I'd suggest heading downstream, crossing Bibblins bridge and walking back upstream to catch the ferry over to the Saracens Head for a lunchtime pint or two. I'd recommend Forrest View guest house to anyone.

The owners seem nice, and breakfast was good. The bed linen and towels were good quality, and we had a lovely view from the room. It was a bit on the small side, though, and the rooms feel slightly dated and need redecorating. The location is lovely.

We found it more affordable than other places in Symonds Yat, and it was a great find. Even though it was freezing outside, the rooms were very warm and had fantastic views. The hosts were hospitable, and the home-cooked breakfast was lovely, with good options for veggies too. There's also a good garden for summer, with lots of outdoor seating and nice touches like fairy lights, if you're into that sort of thing.

Room 5 had unbeatable views, and the hospitality was brilliant. Everything was clean and tidy, and the location was fabulous for a short stay. Breakfast was lovely, and the evening meals were excellent. My husband's favorite was the steak and ale pie, the best he's had.
