Victoria Colonnade ApartHotel

At 04:00, an intruder tried to force his way into our apartment. We had barricaded the door before bed, and if we hadn't, he would have got in. We didn't sleep. He was clearly intoxicated and falling down the stairs. I told him to go away, but he came back, so we had to call the police. We'd arrived on 05/01/2024 with my wife and two young children. They first showed us an apartment we hadn't paid for, calling it an upgrade. There was tobacco all over the counter and an empty bag of drugs with clear residue. Management apologised and moved us to the room we'd paid for, but it had exactly the same code as the first flat. When I pointed that out, the manager said we had the special code 🙄. I also reported that the door from the outside walkway to the flats was broken. He said he'd fix it on his way out, but didn't. The worst night ever. Avoid this place. We're still waiting for our £160 refund, and they keep dodging our calls and emails. There are rats 🐀!!!!!!!!!!!

The room is basically good, but it's very dirty, with little bits of dirt everywhere. Worst of all, there was hair on the pillow and bedsheets.
