The dining room had a gorgeous 180-degree view, and the view from our bedroom was lovely too. Ian and Suzanne were wonderful hosts, the food was excellent, and they were very accommodating when our group arrived an hour late for dinner. We stayed three nights as a group and loved it. The room was beautiful and spacious, with lovely quality throughout, though I personally would have preferred a slightly firmer mattress. One small downside: they brought out the cooked breakfast while we were still eating cereal. Thoroughly recommend.

Ian and Suzanne made our trip so special, thank you both. My husband and I spent three nights here during a tour, enjoying the meals, company and comfort of our room. We were on the top floor with breathtaking views on two sides. We had a little snow one night in March, then light rain and sunshine, and it never got too cold to be outdoors. We also quietly celebrated our 54th wedding anniversary there.

Ian and Suzanne made us feel welcome and were accommodating in every way. The food was local, delicious and incredible. The Highland countryside around the place was beautiful and relaxing, away from the bustle of town but still close enough to get around quickly. If I ever return to Scotland, I’ll be sure to stay here again. Thanks, Ian and Suzanne, for a wonderful visit. ♥️🏴

We’d planned to spend the night here during our Highlands tour, but the owner immediately told us off and scolded us for even considering stopping. I felt unsafe, so we left straight away and continued on rather than risk being in further danger. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

The lodge and its grounds were gorgeous, and the bar had a wide range of choices. We were there with a tour group, and Ian and Suzanne looked after all of us with real care and kindness. They were gracious hosts and made everyone feel welcome. The rooms are unique, beautifully put together, and still feel homey and cosy. I appreciated the lodge’s focus on sustainability and the gentle encouragement to think about how much material we use during a stay. There was no pressure about it, they were incredibly kind. The food was excellent too. I’ll always remember this wonderful experience fondly. Thank you!
