Coach House Hotel

We dropped in for a quick lunch and were really pleased. The food was just what we expected and very nice, and the service was impeccable. Everything was spotless, right down to the restrooms, which you don't always find in hospitality. Thanks, and well done!

There's plenty of parking, a playing field, an outdoor play area, and lots of space in a handy location. With hotel facilities and food and beer on offer, this place could be a gold mine, especially with thousands of cars passing every day. Instead, it's grotty, dirty, and old, and needs major TLC. The building and play area look like something from a zombie movie. A small investment could make it great, but in its current state, I'd just drive past.

We stopped in on our long drive back to Somerset and they were happy to fit us in at short notice. The roast was tasty, as was the regular menu. I did think the roast was a little overpriced for what was on the plate, but it was still good. Thanks for having us.

The food was fantastic, and there was so much of it that sharing one serving between two still left us stuffed. We really enjoyed our stay: the staff were friendly and the service was excellent. When the shower gave us trouble, the manager let us switch rooms. The bed was very comfortable, and we had tea and coffee in the room. The big, fluffy towels were great after a shower. I'd happily recommend staying here.
