Our room was comfortable, but the rest of our recent visit was a real letdown. The food was poor, and the chef couldn’t get a simple pie right. Service was terrible, though I do feel sorry for the staff because they seem unsupported. At the bar, the only option was Fosters, apparently the manager’s choice. The place has gone downhill a lot since our last visit. Such a shame.

The food was excellent, and the staff were polite and helpful. Our room was clean and tidy, though its furniture was a bit worn and stained. It’s also just a short walk from the hover port.

Haven’t stayed here, but the location is perfect. The food is typical pub chain fare, and there’s great entertainment outside in summer.

We had such a lovely time and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We were there for our friend's 80th birthday, and the staff were absolutely brilliant, ready to help whenever we needed it. The food was really good for the price. We’ll definitely come back.

I stayed here at the start and end of a walking trip, and both times I got a good room with a bath. That was wonderful after a long walk. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast team were brilliant. They had really good vegan options, so I could start the day well fuelled and ready to go.
