Maldron Hotel Manchester Central – Cathedral Quarter

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was well arranged with a good selection of English and Continental options. The location was excellent for getting to Manchester’s main sights quickly. We stayed three nights in a single and double room. They were modern and more than fine for a short trip, though not very large. With three people, some extra room for luggage or clothes would have helped. All in all, a good experience.

The beds were really comfortable, and the rooms, though not especially large, were clean and nicely finished. I liked the bathroom and waterfall shower. Even the tea and biscuits were a step up from the usual basics. For us, the location worked well, and having Q-Park right next door was a real bonus. It has electric charging points and offers a discount. The man at reception was lovely and helpful, and the bar staff were friendly too. We had a great stay.

The bed was very comfortable, and having plenty of sockets with USB ports made it easy to charge several devices. The room was nicely furnished and decorated, and spotlessly clean. Reception were friendly and helpful, which made us feel welcome. It was good value for money. I’d gladly stay again and recommend it.

We enjoyed breakfast, which my daughter and I both found tasty, and the room was comfortable with plenty of amenities for the low price. The staff were welcoming and kind, especially Annie, who helped with my daughter’s request. Thank you, Annie 😊 We had a wonderful stay, and Maldron Hotel will be our home away from home when we visit Manchester. There’s an open parking lot on Duke Street for £9 a day, just a short walk away. We’re already looking forward to coming back.
