Matt at reception quickly sorted out the issue with our assigned room and moved us to another one. The bed was comfortable, the room had what we expected from a Premier Inn, and it was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. We stayed one night for a gig at Ariva studios, so the location was perfect. Breakfast was good quality and hot, though the dining room furniture looked tired and the carpet needs replacing. The hotel itself also felt worn and in need of a deep clean.

We had plenty of space, and the bed was comfortable. The service was good too: we arrived early and were able to check in ahead of time. Getting into town was easy, either on foot or with a short Uber ride. Our accessible room could have been better maintained. The door didn’t close all the way, the wet room drained too slowly and flooded if we stayed in it too long, and the flush handle was too low for wheelchair users to reach easily.

The staff made our short stay so enjoyable. They were lovely and welcoming, and really went above and beyond. The room was lovely and breakfast was great too. This is probably my favourite Premier Inn so far, and I’ll definitely visit again.

The self-service check-in was actually enjoyable, and breakfast was great. A friendly, smiley lady welcomed us in the breakfast area, and the children were given little Easter goodie bags, which made their day. The location was great, though the rooms were a little smaller than at other Premier Family places. The car park was the disappointment: £30 for 16 hours, with no Premier Inn discount, felt rather pricey on top of the hotel cost.

The staff were lovely and really helpful. The shower had hot water, but the sink tap only ran cold. There’s no hotel car park or parking included, and if you’re travelling in a van there isn’t anywhere close by, so it’s a walk of 10 minutes or more. We paid £15 to park our van for 24 hours.
