My four-night break at KILNA was a lovely retreat, and I’m planning to return. Bridget gave me a warm welcome and was very helpful with suggestions for places to visit. The room was restful, with garden views and plenty of tea and coffee supplies and toiletries. There was even a big fluffy dressing gown, which was thoughtful since my bathroom was across the hall. The full English breakfasts were the best, with fruit picked from the garden. It’s a great spot for nervous drivers, as there are no narrow country lanes to tackle. My dog will be welcome too. Highly recommend.

There’s a proper Cornish pub a five-minute walk away, with excellent locally sourced food and beer. The B&B sits in a really peaceful area that feels almost in the middle of nowhere, yet several lovely restaurants are still within reach. It’s a beautiful place run by lovely people, with comfortable rooms and great food. Just right for a weekend away.

The one tricky part for me was turning off the main road into the drive. Otherwise, this family-run B&B was excellent, with superb service and something for all tastes. The family were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Bedrooms were clean and the bedding was changed daily.

The owners were really friendly and looked after us well. We had comfy beds, tea and coffee in the room, plenty of parking, and somewhere outside to sit in the evening. Breakfast was lovely, with gluten-free homemade bread and homegrown fruit.
