The Bothy felt really homely and comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay there. It’s an apartment or cottage attached to the main house, with beautiful countryside views while still being close to the A38. Parking was right outside, with room for another car across the drive. Inside, everything was laid out well and immaculately clean. Our friendly host left a lovely welcome of homemade apple juice and eggs. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was good and she’s a great cook, though the portions felt a bit sparse, just one of each thing. We stayed in the Lynn something room, maybe Lyndhurst, and it was gorgeous, with a nice bed and a clean, lovely room and bathroom. Wi-Fi was extremely slow at about 0.5 Mbps, but O2 4G was plentiful. The lady owner welcomed us warmly and was genuinely interested in our motorcycles, which is unusual in a host. The house is gorgeous and homely in rural Landrake, in a pretty isolated spot. Motorcyclists should watch out for the stone driveway, I nearly dropped my bike. Lovely people, scenic surroundings, and the room was great value for the price.

The scrambled eggs at breakfast were the best I’ve ever had, and the room had all the facilities I could want. What a super B&B, with such a friendly welcome. I only wish I’d stayed longer.

Really spacious, nicely furnished and decorated rooms, kept very clean, and the breakfasts were superb. It’s in a great location, with a friendly owner and parking on site. Highly recommended!
