The best part of staying at 'Salty' Seaview was how bright, warm, spacious, and beautifully kept it felt inside. The exterior is tidy too, but the interior is on another level, a lovely place to relax and look out at Saltburn's sea and cliffs. The view is quite blocked, though, and the wall next door hides much of the beach and pier. Even camper vans parked out front can make it worse. Being able to cross the road for a cliff walk helped make up for that. We were there on Marine Parade for a weekend in late January 2023. Parking one car behind the property takes care, as the photo shows, but free street parking was easy to find. A couple of small things needed attention: we bought a washing-up bowl from the hardware shop at the far end of Ruby Street and left it for the house. The tiny machine was described as a "standard Krupps" coffee maker in Host & Stay's rather lazy reply to our question, but there were no pods, so we bought a cafetière and some good Lavazza at Sainsbury's. You can book 'Salty' Seaview through Home & Stay or AirBnB. Home & Stay was £50 cheaper for the weekend, though the customer service from Host & Stay felt indifferent and complacent.

We had such a good time here and would happily come back. The house is beautiful, thoughtfully arranged, and in an amazing location.
