Premier Inn Sandhurst

The restaurant next door was handy for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The room was nice for the price and the beds were comfortable. I’ve only taken off a star because of all the stairs. Even on the ground floor there are several sets of four steps, which made getting around with heavy suitcases a bit difficult.

We’ll be back when we visit family nearby. It’s a clean, comfortable hotel, and the free on-site parking saves money. The housekeeping team do a great job, too. Elizabeth and Tammy on Reception are always friendly and genuinely helpful. Big shout out to everyone.

Room 37 was basic but practical, with a comfortable mattress and pillows, a hot, powerful shower, and good Baylis & Harding bathroom amenities. There was complimentary tea and coffee, a hairdryer and a portable fan, along with a good choice of TV channels. No iron and board, safe or air conditioning, and the lighting could be better, especially as I’m partially sighted. The heating kept switching off and on, which wasn’t great with it at -1 outside. The gentleman at check-in and check-out was welcoming, friendly, professional and efficient both times. Check-in was at 15:00 and check-out at 12:00. There’s a Beefeater Restaurant connected to the hotel, plus free parking with plenty of spaces. The free Wi-Fi was slow and kept dropping. I only had time for a cappuccino at the restaurant. It was very milky and not hot, and cost £3.20. They had nice background music and a pleasant vibe, though the lighting could be improved there too. My overall rating is 4/5, taking into account the £61 nightly rate.

Tammy at reception made check-in easy and gave me great customer service throughout my stay. She was attentive, super helpful and had a really warm, welcoming manner. She made me feel like I was in good hands. I recently stayed at this Premier Inn and wanted to give her a shout out.
