The Old Coach House

There’s loads of space in this beautiful rental, and plenty for the kids to do, including a football table, darts, hot tub and board games. Every bedroom was fantastic and super comfortable, with its own en suite. We loved our stay and will definitely come back. Five stars.

We’ve just had a lovely week at the Old coach house with 12 family members. The place was spotless, and the owners went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It worked for everyone in the family, from the young kids to the great-grandparents. Can’t fault it. Thank you.

The house was exceptionally clean and "covid-secure", and the owners, who live nearby, were happy to help with anything. We were a group of 12, booked through Sykes Cottages, and would gladly have stayed longer if it hadn’t been booked the following week. It’s enormous, with six large double bedrooms, multiple reception rooms and a quirky style. There’s a Sonos soundbar, access to Netflix and Prime, and a great outdoor space with a terrace, seating for everyone, sun loungers and a hot tub. Superb place, and I’d highly recommend it for families or large groups.

The layout and bedrooms are really well thought out, and the kitchen is lovely. Everything was clean and well specc'd, with a great games room. The location makes it easy to get everywhere and is close to some great places to eat, including Squires, Heanton Court and Williams Arms. Can't fault it.
