Wrea Head Hall

We stayed in room 18, which was beautifully decorated, comfortable and cosy, with a lovely view. The grounds and setting are beautiful, and Scarborough is just over an hour's walk away or about a five-minute drive. We had breakfast and dinner included, and both were fantastic, so compliments to the chef. All the staff were amazing and looked after everyone so well, even though they were young. The bar prices were very reasonable too. A perfect stay from beginning to end, and we'd definitely recommend it and return.

Dinner both nights was fabulous, especially the local game, and the communal rooms and grounds were lovely. The staff were kind and very helpful throughout. We stayed in a luxury room in the coach house, which was fantastic and had everything you'd expect from a hotel of this calibre. The short walk to the hall was no problem, and the room was incredibly quiet at night. Wrea Head Hall is easy to reach by public transport, just a short bus ride from Scarborough, which is unusual for hotels like this. There were clearly lots of returning guests, and it's easy to understand why. We had a fantastic stay and hope to return. I'd recommend Wrea Head Hall to others.

We had a superb night away at wrea head, and the peaceful location was only interrupted by distant church bells and owls hooting, which I loved. The grounds and hotel are beautiful and well maintained. We stayed in the coach house, where the room was outstanding, with a huge comfortable bed and a bathroom to die for. The three-course meal was beautifully presented and delicious, and breakfast was amazing too. The staff were fabulous and catered to every need. I genuinely can't fault the hotel, its staff, food or rooms. I’ll definitely return, and want to thank the whole team for making our stay so memorable.

The food is to die for, and both the staff and chef are first class, professional and on the ball with everything you could need. The hotel itself is truly special, with a stunning location and building. The rooms are finished to a high standard in both design and quality. This time we stayed in room 22, right at the front, with a fabulous view.
