It’s on a quiet street but close to everything, so it’s a great base for exploring Scarborough on foot. We could park outside, which was a bonus. The cottage was very clean, with spacious rooms, a well equipped kitchen, and a nice safe garden. The owners communicated well. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return.
Parking at the cottage hasn’t been a problem on either visit, even at peak times. The seafront is about a 10 minute walk downhill, and a few minutes uphill in the other direction brings you near the castle for stunning views. The cottage is spotless, well equipped, and laid out nicely, with awesome views from the back windows. The owners have clearly thought of everything they can to make the stay pleasant.
Had an excellent holiday here. Great base for exploring Scarborough, and a fantastic view.
It’s a cosy, quaint little cottage, and bigger than you’d think. It’s lovely and really well equipped. I’ll definitely come again.
