A coffee and slice of lemon cake greeted us when we arrived, and the cake might be the best I’ve had. The hosts communicated well from the time we booked, answered our questions, and looked after us through checkout. We had a very comfortable bed, a clean room and a quiet location near town. Breakfast was amazing. We really couldn’t fault the stay and would happily come again.

Breakfast was fantastic, with cereal, fruit, yoghurt and a choice of full English. My partner said the black pudding was the best they’d ever had. The room was spacious and lovely, with a really comfortable bed and a mini fridge stocked with fresh milk. Peter met us as we came down the drive and carried in my case. While we had coffee and delicious lemon cake, our bags were taken up to the room. He also suggested some good places to eat. Thanks, Stuart and Peter, for being such great hosts. We’ll definitely be back.

We’ve stayed three times now, and every visit has been a pleasure. Stuart and Peter always give us a warm welcome. The rooms are clean and well equipped, and breakfast is filling with loads of choice. We’ll be back soon. Thanks again for your hospitality!

The hosts were so friendly and greeted us with tea and lovely homemade lemon cake. The bed was comfortable, the towels were fluffy, and breakfast was amazing. A wonderful place to stay, and I’d highly recommend it.
