Tighlochan Pods

The owners left fresh milk, cereals and eggs for breakfast, and they were delicious. I stayed in the newest of the three pods and thought it was excellent, warm and cosy, with superb decor. I loved how the items throughout matched the colour scheme. There's great Wi-Fi and a sound bar, so even without a TV I had plenty of entertainment for the evening.

So peaceful and just right for a bit of relaxing. It's tiny, but comfortable and carefully equipped, with everything you need and then some. The welcome basket even had delicious eggs. I'd definitely recommend it.

The pod was clean and had a good range of equipment, but it was tiny and hugely overpriced for what you get. This one night cost 50% more than all the other places we stayed during a two-week tour in the area. Those other places also included breakfast, and had enough space for two people to sleep and eat. In this pod, the bed isn't big enough for two. The curved wall means one person has to climb over their partner to get in and out, and bangs their head on the roof. We cooked dinner for two but couldn't sit together at the table to eat. Cosy, in the sense of very small, but far too expensive.

The owners were so kind and welcoming, and as a group of five we felt really well looked after. The cottages were fantastic, clean, cosy and very comfortable, with beautiful surroundings that were ideal for relaxing and enjoying nature. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return.
