I'd heard the White Lion in Seaford was serving really good Indian food from its kitchen, so I took my other half to try it. As a bit of a foodie, I was hoping it would match the buzz, and wow, it did. The sag paneer arrived a vibrant green and had been cooked fresh to order. The jalfrezi and butter chicken were spot on too. We also had garlic rice and alloo tikka, which was like a lightly spiced bubble-and-squeak hash brown, topped with tamirind, yogurt riata, chilli mint sauce and a couple of pomegranate seeds. We tried aloo gobi as well. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, and the meal came to £33. Give it a try.

Great value for a seaside B&B at this price, and still pretty good even if you pay a bit more. There is off-street parking, check-in was quick, and Chelsea was very friendly. The room was clean, the bathroom spotless and the towels clean, if a little ragged. It's above a popular pub, so there's some noise until 11pm, then it settles down. I think the people running the whole place are just nice. The water pressure was good, breakfast was a pleasant standard cooked one, and they left plenty of cold water and ice for the day. I met John, the owner, who golfs and gave us good tips on the fantastic Seaford Head and Seaford Golf Courses. His son Peter and, I think, Martin, who looks after the rooms, were friendly too. We'll be back.

The food at White Line Indian Restaurant is fresh, full of flavour and nicely presented, and the service is outstanding. Sonali is warm and gives excellent customer service, which makes each visit enjoyable. A good opportunity for local people. Highly recommend it for both the food and service. 🎉🎉

The room was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's well located, with an easy walk into town.

Everyone we met was kind and welcoming, even though we were only there for one night. I don't know who owns the pub, hotel or restaurant, but every employee we came across was so friendly. Breakfast felt like home, and the excellent meal set us up for a long hike. Thanks to everyone at the White Lion Hotel!
