The room was clean, nicely kept and lovely and quiet, and the shower was properly hot with good pressure. It’s only a 10 minute drive to Charmouth or Lyme Regis, so I’d happily come back. The one small downside in winter was the noisy fan heater. It blew dust around and made me cough a bit at night. An oil filled radiator might work better.

The room was a great size, with a comfy bed and sofa, a spotless bathroom and roomy shower. The bath at the end of the bed was lovely, and my girlfriend LOVED having a vanity table. Breakfast the next morning was fresh and fantastic. Food and drinks were top class, well priced and there was loads of choice on both menus. Steve welcomed us when we arrived and was so helpful throughout, making sure we had everything we needed. Yannick kept our drinks topped up and checked in regularly, and Heidi and Wendy were lovely too. The venue is stunning, with picture perfect views and beaches about 10 minutes away. We’re already trying to pick a date to return, this time with friends.

The views are fabulous, and Steve, Heidi and the lady in the kitchen were all so friendly and welcoming. Sorry I didn't catch the kitchen lady's name, but nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely brilliant stay, highly recommend.

We paid quite a bit, and the stay didn't feel polished enough for the price. We were a family of four with two children under five, and it felt a bit amateur, more like a hotel laid out horizontally without the service level we expected. A hornet had started making a nest in our room. For a two night stay, they really should have moved us, but the situation felt like a bit of a joke. When I asked, they relocated us for one night, then moved us back. They also shifted our belongings without asking. It wasn't terrible, just not good enough for what we paid.

The southern England countryside looked beautiful from the window, and the room was spacious, with a separate room and bathroom for our children. It was £300 for one night while we were visiting the Jurassic Coast. The shower water took a while to warm up, though it did eventually get warm enough. The restaurant service was the real problem. They could take our money, but apparently couldn't return it, because the one person who knew how to do that was never there. We won't be back, and I'd suggest avoiding the place until management changes.
