Settle is only a five-minute drive away and has plenty of pubs and shops. There are walks right nearby, plus bigger ones about a 20-minute drive from the property. The place itself has lots of character, with several bedrooms, two walk-in showers, a big bath, and a large dining room and kitchen. There’s plenty of parking too.

The barn conversion was very comfortable, though the Wi-Fi was unreliable in some parts of the house. The enclosed garden didn’t feel quite safe for small dogs, and the picnic bench beside the oil tank and heating outlet isn’t ideally placed.

There’s plenty to do nearby, and the barn conversion itself is spacious, quirky and wonderful. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had a fantastic stay.

This was our second visit to the lovely cottage, and we’ll certainly be back. We’d happily recommend staying here for a short or long break.

Back for our third stay. It’s a lovely place, with walks starting right outside. The bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need.
