The service was lovely, friendly and welcoming, and I’d happily return for another roast. The Sunday lunch was so good, especially the parsnips and Yorkshire puddings. They were properly crispy and full of flavour, just what you want from a roast.

The chef came out to check that everything was okay at our table and the others too. The staff were lovely, and the atmosphere was wonderfully friendly, with locals and visitors treated just as warmly. We shared the squid and ribs for lunch, and both were excellent and very generous. We’ll definitely be back.

The chicken and chorizo with wedges were really tasty, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed dinner at the Fotmell and look forward to more food and drinks there in the coming years.
