Keats Cottage

We stayed in the Shelley room, which was lovely: a comfy bed, nice sofa, plenty of space, a big bathroom, and homemade biscuits topped up each day. David and his mum were such lovely people and wonderful hosts. They even got up to make breakfast at 6:15 this morning, and we were sad to say goodbye when we left. The breakfasts were delicious, David's a quality chef, and his mum's marmalade and jam were so good we bought some to take home. After a fantastic week, we both said you couldn't get a better B&B. Thank you, David and your mum. We really appreciate it.

After a really long journey, we were welcomed by our host and offered a free cold beer. The room was large, beautifully appointed, and had all the facilities we could want. Our cheerful host and his mother served fantastic food, with as much as we could ever eat. They also helped plan our itinerary and suggested places to visit. We had a fabulous week’s holiday and would highly recommend Keats Cottage.

The suite had loads of room for us and our things, with a lovely-sized lounge, huge bathroom, soft carpets and a clean, comfortable feel. Some parts could use a little updating, and the TV was a bit small, but neither would put me off coming back. Shanklin was so lovely that we didn't spend much time indoors watching it anyway. David and Ewa were sweet and helpful from the moment we walked in, and nothing felt like a bother. The food was delicious, the service excellent, and the family made us feel very welcome with our children, taking care of every little thing. I'm already planning another visit in a few months and can't wait.

We’ve booked again for next year. The rooms were kept to a high standard, clean, airy and spacious, and looked superb throughout our visit. David and his staff gave excellent service, with a warm welcome and a relaxed, cheerful atmosphere. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented, with plenty of choice.
