The Ravenswood

The honeymoon suite was gorgeous, looking out over the grounds, and our guests had a brilliant time. The food was lovely, and the day flew by because we were all having so much fun. We got married at the Ravenswood recently and couldn’t have asked for a better day. We chose the little castle outdoors, though there are lovely rooms inside if the weather doesn’t cooperate or you’d rather not have an outdoor ceremony. The building and grounds are both beautiful. Before the wedding, the team laid out the prices and options clearly, gave us several chances to visit, and let us try the food before choosing our wedding breakfast menu. Everyone was kind and easy to talk to, and questions or small changes were never a problem. On the day, the staff worked quickly and smoothly. While I was getting ready, they kept me informed about timings and what was going on. A big thank you to our coordinator Georgia, who was kind, reassuring and incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond, and I don’t think the day would have gone as well without her. I’d absolutely recommend The Ravenswood for a wedding. Thank you again ❤️

Having the cottage the night before was a lovely start. The whole grooms-party stayed with us that evening and we went through the plans for the day. On 1 April 2026, we married outside, then had the wedding breakfast in the Beatrice suite. We had over 100 guests during the day and another 20-30 in the evening, and everyone had a wonderful time. Natalie, our coordinator, was an absolute star. She made sure my husband and I had time and space to breathe, eat and enjoy everything. The staff were attentive and polite, and seemed to share in the happiness of the day. Our guests praised how well it was organised, and the food was incredible. From the moment we picked the Ravenswood, the team showed such care and attention to detail. Natalie worked with us to make our dream day happen, and took care of all the finer details beforehand. During the event I couldn’t fault a thing. The whole team seemed completely committed to making the day run the way we wanted.

Our guests kept telling us how lovely the Ravenswood was, and we thought so too. The food was amazing, and all the staff were lovely. Evie, our wedding coordinator, was wonderful from our first day working with her through the wedding itself. She stayed calm and relaxed, listened to what we wanted, and took my husband’s dietary needs into account. She also checked in with us on the day to see how we were doing. Thank you, Evie and everyone at Ravenswood, for making the day even more special ☺️

Everyone looked after us and our guests so well, and made us feel like royalty. I can’t fault a thing ❤️ We booked our wedding at the Ravenswood within an hour of arriving. It was our first venue visit, but it had everything we wanted, and we knew we didn’t need to see anywhere else. People still tell us how dreamy it was, and we agree. Evie was amazing. Nothing we asked for was too much, and she made everything feel smooth in the weeks before the wedding as well as on the day. She really calmed the storm and kept it all in hand, so we could enjoy ourselves and stay in the moment. We couldn’t have done it without her, and she made the day memorable.
