They were so accommodating when I needed to change my dates, and the team were quick to reply and really helpful. The studio looked just like the photos, the WiFi was super fast, and there’s reasonably priced parking right outside. Great location. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The place was clean and tidy, and handy for staying right in the town centre. We were there Friday and Saturday, so clubs nearby meant some noise, but that’s to be expected.

The main problem during my three-month work stay was the construction outside in July. I wasn’t told about it before booking, even though the agent apparently knew. It was noisy and, worse, dusty. I couldn’t leave the windows open because dirt came into the apartment. I told the director how unhealthy it felt, but nothing changed. They eventually gave me keys to another apartment, though the construction was all around the building, so it was the same situation. Had I known from the beginning, I might have chosen somewhere else. The one-bedroom apartment itself was spacious and well equipped, and housekeeping was very nice. Special thanks to Kate, who was there whenever I needed anything. The building is right in the city centre, close to everything.

I’ve stayed here before on shorter trips and had such good experiences that I came back. This time my mother and I stayed July 15-24, and I was surprised and really disappointed by the smells in the hallway and Unit 106. It smelled of old cooking and perspiration. The unusually warm weather made the room very hot, which made the smell worse. There was a lot of construction too, though I can’t say whether it caused the smells. We were there eight nights. I hadn’t clocked that fresh towels only came after seven nights, though the information card on the table and the website both said weekly. Maybe I overlooked it because of my earlier stays. There’s a washer-dryer in the unit, so I assume guests are expected to wash their own towels and sheets until then. We had just one bag for the kitchen bin and one for the bathroom, which clearly wasn’t enough. I asked for a fan because of the heat. I was told the people above us were okay, and I wasn’t sure if that was meant to put me off asking. I replied that they were probably younger and thinner than me. Two women later brought a portable air conditioner while I was out and my elderly mother was alone. When I got back, the unit was running with the vent hose on the floor, and the room was like a sauna. My mother didn’t know how to use it and was afraid to touch anything. She hadn’t realized the hose needed to go out the window, and apparently neither had the two women. While waiting for an Uber, I noticed hoses in several windows above us and on our floor. The units have always been very clean on my previous visits, with clear instructions for collecting the keys. The location is great, close to the City Centre, restaurants and a grocery store, which is why I keep returning, though they aren’t cheap. Maybe this was a one-off, but I expected a better stay.
