Radisson Blu Hotel, Sheffield

Angelica helped my new husband and me plan our wedding, and she was brilliant. She made us feel relaxed, asked useful questions we'd not thought of, and helped us feel we'd found the right place for our day. Everything ran smoothly, and the team looked after us so well. They dressed the dining table beautifully and were flexible and accommodating. We also stayed for two nights last week and held our wedding drinks reception and meal in the semi private space in the sky bar. It was wonderful. A huge thank you to Angelica and all the staff who took care of us on the day! x

Afternoon tea was a lovely part of our hotel visit. The room had an elegant, relaxing feel, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Jessica and Neha deserve a special mention for their warm, attentive service. They made us feel welcome, and their friendliness and professionalism really added to it. We'd happily return and recommend it to others.

The staff made this stay, especially the Reception team led by Vicenzo. William, Christiana and Harsh were kind, professional and helpful from the day we arrived, and the hotel itself was lovely, with a new interior. It was a great, central place to stay while dropping our daughter off at university. We came as a family, even though it's more of a business hotel, and will stay again. The hotel is newly opened, so the team is still learning the ropes, but their enthusiasm and service made for a great stay. It gets the big things right, with a few areas to refine. The main drawback was parking, though there is a promotion code if you prepay. Booking online is easy, but activating my account was difficult, so I used the call centre and the booking took some time to work through. I hope that process gets easier. The hotel team at reception, including Vincenzo's team, more than made up for it.

The breakfast had lots of choice, but I wasn't keen on the sausages, and the scrambled egg was awful, it didn't taste like egg. Is it instant egg or something? Even with that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I'd still rate it 5/5. The staff were lovely and friendly. The hotel and room felt fresh and modern, with a stylish look and everything we needed. Our standard room had a large smart TV, wall plugs plus USB and USB C sockets, different lighting, a fridge, a couple of bottles of water, and an iron and ironing board. The bathroom was just as modern and very clean, with a beautiful, refreshing shower. Thank you!
