The owner made us feel at home straight away and was so helpful. We only stayed one night this week, but got an upgrade to a spacious executive room with lovely decor. It was clean, the bed was really comfy, and the bathroom had a big shower and toiletries. You can see the owner is doing a great job refurbishing the pub and rooms. We’ll visit again.

The manager took great care of us, and both the hotel and bar feel in good hands with the new management. We found it good value, including the bar. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower had plenty of room and good pressure. A good affordable option if you want comfortable accommodation and helpful people. I’d recommend it.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, polite and always glad to help. It’s a lovely place to stay. There wasn’t a TV in the room because that hadn’t been sorted out yet, though. We’ll come back and would recommend it. I can’t comment on the food since we didn’t eat here.

Cameron was friendly and really helpful when we stopped in for a drink tonight. The bar was lovely and warm even though it was freezing outside, and we enjoyed the drinks. Looking forward to coming back more often.
