Happy Place

The hosts at Holwsy House were friendly and welcoming. The place was clean, with mostly new fixtures and fittings, and the breakfast was superb. It's an ideal location close to the train station, with the steam railway nearby too. I couldn't fault it.

The breakfasts were wonderful, especially the huge fresh fruit salad, which you don't often see in a B&B. Lucy and John were brilliant hosts and gave us useful tips for walking and sightseeing each day. I stayed at Holway House from 4-7 April 2025 for the amazing Viking festival. It's close to the festival and to the beach where the boat burning happens later. The house has been refurbished to a very high standard, and my single room looked brand new. A wonderful weekend, and I'd definitely stay again.

A very welcoming stay, with a comfortable bed and plenty of breakfast choices. The room was thoughtfully laid out and made good use of its space. The sloping roof above the toilet did make headroom a little tight, though, so next time I hope to book a first-floor room.

John and Lucy, thank you so much! The hosts were attentive and kind, but never overbearing, and so endearing. Breakfast each morning was sublime, with homemade food and delicious choices. You can tell they put care and thought into everything. The station and town are close by, and the seafront is less than five minutes away. If you're looking to stay in Sheringham, I don't think you could do better. Book directly with them too, they're lovely to talk to and very accommodating. We'll be back, and we're sure we won't be disappointed.
