Mary made us feel very welcome, and the place is a great base for exploring the lovely Cotswolds. It’s a self-contained unit beside the house, with a really comfy bed, a bathroom with both bath and shower, and a big sitting room with a kitchenette. Food is provided so you can make your own breakfast. Highly recommend.

We’ll definitely return. Mary was friendly and very accommodating, and the accommodation and setting were beautiful. My husband especially enjoyed the classic car rally on the village green, even though Mary apologised for the disruption. Her little dog helped make us feel welcome too. We visited Clarkson Farm, Hawkstone brewery, Bourton-on-the-Water and Chastleton House, all lovely places to stop.

We really needed a break, and our stay at wayside House delivered. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and lovely, and Mary kindly made room for our little dog. There’s a lovely garden to relax or play in, a good pub just a short walk away, and we found some nice walks right nearby. We’d definitely come back.

Mary was a wonderful host, always around if we needed anything, and the stay exceeded our expectations. The village, area and walks are something special. We had a six-month-old puppy, and there are plenty of good walks for dogs. The village pub was amazing too, with friendly staff and delicious food.

Our little dog settled right in and didn’t want to leave, just like us. Mary was so welcoming and left lovely things for a DIY breakfast. The accommodation was spacious and spotlessly clean, with comfy beds and a sitting area and kitchenette that were a real bonus. It’s in a pretty village with a great central location. Such a lovely couple of nights at Waysie House. We’ll be back!
