The breakfasts were delicious, served with excellent care in a smart little dining area. There was an interesting, concise menu and gluten-free options too. Our small room was warm, stylish and very comfortable, and the family who apparently own the hotel were among the friendliest, most helpful people we met. After each day out during our three-night stay, we came back to a refreshed room, with the bins emptied and the coffee and drinking chocolate topped up. The service was first rate. Parking out front is adequate but tight, and you may need to leave your keys at reception if your car blocks someone in. Mine was always free to leave in the morning, so it seemed to be an evening issue. A comfortable hotel with great service for a great price. I highly recommend it.

The breakfast was perfect, and the staff were incredibly helpful. With a handy car park and a spot right in the heart of Shrewsbury, the hotel is ideally placed. We can highly recommend it and will definitely come back.

The location is so convenient, and it’s a lovely place to stay. Breakfast was really good, the staff were very friendly, and the bedding was crisp and white. It’s dog friendly too. I’d definitely stay again.

We’re always given a warm welcome here. The rooms are lovely, the bedding crisp, and breakfast is great. It’s very dog friendly, with lovely riverside walks right nearby. Wouldn’t choose anywhere else!

A clean, lovely hotel close to town, yet far enough away that we didn’t hear any noise. The hosts and staff were all helpful, and breakfast was great, with top-quality ingredients throughout. I’d definitely recommend it.
