Cherry Pod 2

The quiet countryside was sublime, even though the town of Shrewsbury is only 10 minutes away. The POD was stunning, with spectacular views and an amazing outdoor hot tub. We got a lovely welcome, with mulled wine, biscuits and the table laid out, and they told us about the area when we arrived. Such a friendly greeting. I think I'll stay longer than two days next time, it was well worth it.

Andy and Dru did a lovely job decorating the pod for Christmas, and we'll 100% return. The views were beautiful and it was peaceful, just right for a relaxing break. Shops and takeaways were nearby, along with the New Inn pub, only a minute's walk away and full of friendly people. The owners were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived.

We've stayed at Cherry pods a couple of times and can't wait to come again. The views are amazing in any weather, and the pod is spotless, comfortable, roomy and cosy. It's so peaceful. The owners bend over backwards to help with anything you need, even giving you a hand to and from the pods in bad weather. They're the most helpful hosts I've come across.

We loved every minute of our Monday-to-Friday stay last week. A puncture made us late, but the owner met us in the dark and helped get our things safely to the pod. December on a field is muddy as hell, but soaking in the hot tub out in the middle of nowhere, with no one around, hearing owls and sipping champagne was another level. The owners are only a call or message away and nothing is too much trouble. Our crazy French bulldog Benson had the time of his life doing zoomies in the huge secure field that comes with the pod. We could just chill while he zipped past the door every so often. It's hard to explain how far this place felt from the real world. We'll 100% be back.
