We walked along the river into Shrewsbury most days, and there are also plenty of easy routes in by road and footpath. The house overlooks the river in a wonderful location and is well furnished, with very efficient central heating and a constant supply of hot water for baths and showers. It feels cosy, and the spacious balcony off the kitchen and sitting room has plenty of seating and views across the garden and river. One of the trees was in full blossom while we were there, so it felt like sitting among the branches. Truly wonderful.

I can't really review this place since I haven't stayed there. Maybe I'll get the chance sometime.
