The Annex at 44 Belvidere Road

Carol was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. My partner and I had an absolutely lovely weekend here. It had everything we needed, and there’s a local sainsbury’s just a five-minute walk away. We’ll be staying again. P.S. I’ve seen some bad reviews, but I have to say they just aren’t true. Either people are being far too picky or they’re insincere!

Carol was a wonderful host and very accommodating. The Annex worked really well for me while I was moving from my home. I stayed six nights, and it was spotlessly clean, comfortable and in a safe area that’s walkable into the town centre. I lived nearby for almost six years. There’s one bedroom with a super comfy bed, a bathroom with heated rails and a wonderful shower, and a living area with a pretty comfortable sleeper sofa. The kitchen has what you need for meals at home, along with nice dishes, glasses and mugs. There’s space for one car on the driveway and free street parking too. Several pubs are within a 10-15 minute walk, along with Sainsbury Local, a chippy and a cafe near the Column. The town centre is about a 25-minute walk, or 2 miles. If you’re in Shrewsbury, look this place up. It’s truly wonderful. Thanks, Carol, for an amazing stay!

The Annex at 44 Belvidere Road is in a quiet but convenient spot, with Sainsbury's local a stroll away and other supermarkets not far off. You can walk, drive or take the bus into Shrewsbury. Buses run every 30 minutes, and the stop is just around the corner. There’s easy, safe parking on the drive. We’ve just returned from a most enjoyable stay. The place is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped. Carol greeted us and was friendly and helpful, ready to deal with any queries. We’ll definitely return!

We’ve already booked our next stay. It’s a lovely self-contained annex with good space and facilities, and a really nice shower. We loved the off-road parking. We brought a travel cot, which just fitted in the bedroom.
