The hosts were incredible, and the setting was so quiet and secluded that I slept like a baby. I was here for one night on a work trip and couldn’t rate the place more highly. I’d recommend it ten times over to anyone staying nearby.

Tina and Kim were generous enough to give us a lift to The Stanton Arms and pick us up later, which was a real help since taxis are hard to get in this location. They also happily shared the history of the Old School B&B, with photos and reading material. Moreton Corbett Castle’s standing ruins are just a short walk away, and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. The hosts have traditional values and made the place feel warm and homely. Our room was spacious, comfortable and bright, with a large, clean bathroom next to the bedroom. Breakfast was delicious and hearty. We had a really lovely stay and plan to return in the new year, and recommend it to family and friends.

Kim welcomed us and showed us to a clean, spacious room with a lovely view over fields towards the old castle. The old school house sits in beautiful Shropshire countryside. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was hot and cooked just right. The hosts couldn’t have done more for us, and we’ll definitely come back. Highly recommended.

The owners were keen to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and pleasant, with a view of the ruined old castle. The owner cooked breakfast fresh, with plenty of tea and coffee.

We’d definitely like to come back. It felt homely and the welcome was lovely and warm. Breakfast was filling and top quality, with local sausages and bacon. At £70 a night, it felt worth it. Highly recommended.
