The countryside views and quiet rural setting made this little guest house a lovely find. Shrewsbury is a short drive away, as are several very nice pubs, though they’re not really within walking distance. We stayed in the scary room, which had lovely views, a comfortable bed, a very nice shower and tea and coffee with plenty of biscuits. Our room also had a little fridge. Breakfast was fantastic, and you should have a drink in Greg's bar, a well-stocked, cosy outhouse. It’s a beautiful old farmhouse, so be aware the stairs are steep. Don’t miss this gem.

We needed a place for the night for a wedding at Rowton Castle, and this was a perfect choice. It was easy to find and only a five-minute drive from the castle. Greg and his partner were warm, welcoming and very accommodating. The room was lovely, the bed comfortable, and the shower powerful and refreshing. Breakfast was outstanding. We’d happily stay again.

We ended our family holiday here and had a lovely stay. The hosts were spot on, so friendly and took great care of us, making us feel at home in the beautifully renovated, very clean house. Breakfast was delicious, and the dining room had the homely feel of my gran's home. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

This B&B was a real gem. Everything was just right for us and our two young children, and the breakfast was amazing. We’d recommend it to anyone visiting, and booking direct helps them keep more of the money. Keep up the great work.

We had a small hot-water problem, but it was sorted within seconds. The owners were incredibly kind to us and our kids, and our girls, aged six and four, thought the place was magical. The house is lovely and sits in a beautiful setting. Breakfast was brilliant and fairly priced. We couldn't have asked for more.
