Sandy made us feel so comfortable, and got the balance of chatting just right. Her cleaning and the way she closed communal areas during Covid 19 made me feel very safe, especially travelling with my young son, who enjoyed the nearby park. A fantastic host. It’s well worth the money.

There’s a pub about 400 yards up the road with evening meals and local ales, which is handy. We booked all three rooms for three nights for our group of eight on our second visit to Farmhouse Cottage. It was a wonderful stay and very good value. Sandy is a fantastic host and made a magnificent breakfast. Every room has an en-suite, old world charm and lots of space, especially the family room. We’ll surely be back soon.

The location was excellent, close to shops, a chip shop and several pubs serving food. Rob and Sandy gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. The rooms were clean and nicely presented, and the breakfast options were excellent. Highly recommended!

Sidmouth is easy to reach by bus, bike or on foot. We were looking for a pretty thatched cottage and found that, plus lovely grounds full of blooming flowers. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was marvellous. A proper traditional B&B where we felt welcome and valued.

I stayed with three friends in August. It’s a lovely cottage near the coast, about a five-minute drive away. The breakfast was great, and the host was really friendly. I’d definitely recommend it.
