We can't wait to visit again. The ample parking was free and secure, which was another big plus. The hotel is in the lovely Devon town of Sidmouth, with stunning views all around. Staff did everything they could to make our stay special. Our room was warm, very clean, nicely decorated and furnished to a high standard. The food was excellent whatever time of day, with plenty of choice. It's easy to see why people keep coming back. Dennis & Geraldine, room 217

Although the weather was awful, the atmosphere inside was still lovely. We had a very impressive three-course lunch and look forward to returning soon. Thanks to everyone for making our anniversary one to remember. We'd booked for last week, our 54th wedding anniversary, but had to cancel because I had a chest infection. We rebooked for today. It's our first time at this hotel, though we visit Sidmouth every few weeks, and the staff were so attentive, from the friendly waitresses onwards. The food blew us away: lots of courses to choose from, generous portions and beautifully presented. We felt very relaxed. We picked up a brochure on the way out and are tempted to book a stay, even though we live in Seaton.

It's not cheap, but you do get what you pay for. Aside from the year we were all in lockdown due to Covid, my wife and I have come to Sidmouth every year and stayed at the Belmont since 2009. That probably tells you enough. We had another wonderful stay, with lovely food, attentive staff and tasteful Christmas decorations everywhere.

We visited for the day with family and had an amazing lunch. Eating it was a real pleasure: the food was superbly prepared, cooked and presented, and the service was excellent too. I'd highly recommend it.
