Green Farmhouse

We booked the whole B&B for two nights for our wedding, after our venue, The Barnyard in Upchurch, highly recommended it. We went straight from booking the venue to see the B&B and fell for its lovely character. There was plenty of room in the bedrooms and breakfast room for our family to get ready, with hair and makeup, and enjoy a relaxed morning around the wedding. Carol was so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. She even let us visit before our stay so we could work out which rooms our family would have. Breakfast both mornings was amazing. You won't find another B&B like this in the area. My wife and I will definitely return one day to enjoy it all again. Thanks, Shane and Ellen.

We booked the Green Farmhouse for exclusive weekend hire for our Saturday wedding at the BarnYard, for ourselves and our immediate wedding party. The rustic charm and period features were matched by the wonderful service from Carol and Chris. They were attentive to me and the bridal party on the morning, and no request felt like too much. The food was incredible, and the whole experience was a joy. Carol even stayed up for my husband and me to get back from the wedding celebrations, then brought us tea and midnight snacks before bed. Absolutely brilliant! I had my wedding nearby, and the owner was very accommodating. They let us drop our bags off early and check in at the end of the night. We hired all the rooms for our family, and we all enjoyed breakfast together the next morning :)

The wedding weekend felt so easy here. The house was beautiful, the food was delicious, and everyone was wonderful at making us feel at home. They were happy to sort out anything we needed. We’re grateful for such a lovely stay and will come back, and recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere in the area.
