We were here for one night for a family gathering in Faversham, and the location worked well for this part of Kent. The bar had a pleasant atmosphere and the server was very kind. Isaac greeted us warmly at reception after we found our way in from the back of the hotel. Google doesn’t direct you to the front, so keep that in mind. Our room was large and comfortable, with water, coffee, and treats provided. It may not be a typical five-star place, but it was a lovely, comfortable stay.

During my stay of about a month and a half at the Holiday Inn Sittingbourne, I never had a single complaint. The staff’s kindness and attention made a real difference, and I felt at home from check-in right through to leaving. Breakfast and dinner were consistently fresh, tasty, and well prepared, with plenty of variety. The room service and cleaning team kept everything spotless and comfortable. A special mention to the cheerful, attentive breakfast staff Manpreet, Donovan, Mathew, who always went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed. The reception team, Jode, Jack, Issac, Caran, and Niro, were just as friendly, professional, and caring. Thanks to the Holiday Inn Sittingbourne team for making a long stay so enjoyable. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. You’ll be well looked after.

I was here for work and would stay again if I needed to. The staff were extremely helpful and chatty, and breakfast had a self-serve full English as well as cereal, pastries, fruit, and yoghurt. Lunch and dinner were available at reasonable prices, and the food was tasty, which saved me a walk into town. There are plenty of places to eat there too, about a ten-minute walk away. The location is central and handy for the M2 and M20. My room was clean and comfortable, with a huge bed. A wall split the space, with the TV at the foot of the bed on one side and the desk and tea-making things on the other. There was also hanging space, an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer, and a safe. The bathroom had a bath with a working shower over it, hot water, shower gel, and shampoo. For drinks there was a kettle, two coffee sachets, four Twining tea bags, and four UHT tubs. My one gripe was the brick wall outside the window.

It was an okay place, and you can walk into town from a good location. Dinner was nice, though breakfast was only so-so. The rooms were fine, but I couldn’t tell if the air conditioning worked.
